Looking Glass Waterfall is a stunning waterfall located in the Pisgah National Forest. This roadside waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Western North Carolina.

Location
Located on US 276 near Brevard, North Carolina, Looking Glass Falls is 60 feet tall and easily accessible.
This beauty is 9 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can view this waterfall roadside or take the trail stairs to the viewing platform.
For a great view or swim, the stairs will take you all the way to the bottom! Swimming is allowed, but swim at your own risk. The rocks are very slippery!

Parking
Parking can get tricky here as there is just a small parking area right off the road. Be careful as this is a high traffic area!
Named after the nearby Looking Glass Rock, Looking Glass Falls got its name from the way the sunlight hits the rocky surface. When wet, it creates a shimmering, reflective, mirror-like effect, a looking glass!
Waterfall Chasing!
We love chasing waterfalls, and especially love it when they are roadside!! If you are riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, this stop is a must!

Thanks Jenn. This is a great spot, we loved it! If I can, I try to include parking or sign info…as sometimes with waterfalls there are no signs or parking!
