When we are out riding on the motorcycle, we love finding great little diners! We recently found Family Diner in Oxford, North Carolina, and we couldn’t wait to try it!
Family Diner Location
Family Diner is located at 1213 Goshen Street in Oxford, North Carolina. As we usually do, we took back roads and enjoyed a beautiful country ride to get here. Nothing better than coming around the bend and finding a country diner!
The Diner
This little diner is fabulous! Spacious and simple, cafeteria style, and friendly staff! We stopped in for lunch, and we couldn’t have been happier. We were greeted with a big friendly hello when we walked in the door!
There is an obvious following of locals who eat here, and they were as friendly and welcoming as the staff! Everyone was happy to chat and share stories about their favorite meals with us!
Family Diner features breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a great selection of daily homemade desserts!
Our Meal
We had the fried chicken dinner with baked mac & cheese, and we were very happy. The fried chicken was one of the best I have ever had!! They had several vegetable and potato choices as well as a couple of fried fish choices. You also get your choice of bread, rolls, or hushpuppy!
The motto here is “A Taste of Love in Every Bite” and I couldn’t agree more, everything tasted homemade and full of love!
