Bryson City North Carolina is a peaceful mountain town, and a great little place to spend a long weekend! We spent a weekend here and had a wonderful time.
The Quaint Little Town
This town may be small, but it’s packed with unique shops, galleries, restaurants, art, and more! With just over 1500 full-time residents, most of the activity is on Main Street and Everett Street.

Bryson City is about 5 hours from Raleigh, NC and about an hour west of Asheville, NC. Bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you can’t go wrong with a visit here!

Our Trip
We spent a couple days in the Bryson City area and had a great time. As we usually do, we arrived by motorcycle and spent our days riding the scenic roads, hiking, waterfall chasing, and enjoying the local street art and restaurants.
Over the next few weeks, we will highlight some of our favorite things to do in this area! I think it is safe to say that we will be visiting this area again!
