Beaver Brook Falls State Wayside is an amazing waterfall in Colebrook NH. Located at 432 Route 145 in Colebrook, this roadside waterfall will quickly become one of your favorite spots!

We have been to Beaver Brook Falls many times and we are in awe each time we see these falls! This over 80-foot waterfall is spectacular, and it is right there to see as you come around the bend! We love roadside waterfalls because, as we say, Bikers NOT Hikers!!
Although we do not mind a short hike to be in natures beauty, we do love when we find something so beautiful right by the road. There is a short hike in the woods to get to the falls if you follow the path to the left, or you can go to the right and walk over a wooden bridge. We have done both, and I have to say going left and taking the short hike into the woods is beautiful!

Beaver Brook Falls is 7.3-acres and is popular place for hiking. If you like waterfall hikes then you will love this one! There is also a picnic area with tables and benches for sitting and enjoying the falls if you do not want to take the short hike to get up-close! There is plenty of parking and restroom facilities.
If you are like us, you will want to take the short hike in to get up-close and personal with the falls. Depending on the time of year and the amount of rainfall in the days before visiting, the falls can be very slow or roaring wild! We have visited these falls a few times now and have seen it as a trickle and as a massive flowing body of water!
We love coming to this area because the roads are great for motorcycle riding! After visiting Beaver Brook Falls, we like to ride to Pittsburg, NH. The road to Pittsburg is long, has lots of swooping hills and turns, and great scenery, perfect for us on the motorcycle, but also very enjoyable by car!
Other things to do in the area:
- Pittsburg-Clarksville Covered Bridge (Bacon Bridge)-Pittsburg, NH
- Buck Rub Pub-great for lunch or dinner
- Tillotson Center-theater, art gallery and museum
- Coos Brewing
- Poore Family Homestead Historic Farm
